Former Czech President Milos Zeman criticized military-age refugee men from Ukraine. He spoke about this in an interview with CNN Prima.
He noted that he had previously received information about refugees from Ukraine, 80% of whom were women and children, and thought that the rest were elderly men and women. Zeman believes that he made a mistake or the information was inaccurate.
“Yesterday, the mayor of Náchod, Jan Birke, visited me. And he told me: “A thousand Ukrainians were sent to Nachod, and a significant part — I’m not saying that the majority — a significant part of them are young people,” Zeman said.
In addition, the former head of the Czech Republic mentioned the story of the rape of a girl in Pilsen by an 18-year-old Ukrainian. He noted that “who can rape, he can fight.”
