Rosneft has approved the composition of the Board of Directors (BoD), which includes representatives from India, the Philippines and Qatar. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, former Minister of Energy and Industry of Qatar, was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors. This was announced on the official site companies. “Given the payment of interim dividends from profit for the first half of 2022, the total dividend per share for 2022 will be 38 rubles. 36 kopecks, and the total amount of funds for payment is 406.5 billion rubles. This corresponds to 50% of IFRS net profit for 2022,” the company commented on the size of the approved dividend.
Previously, the board of directors was headed by Taieb Belmahdi, a former top manager of Qatar Energy. The SD also included the ex-head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and now the representative of the region in the Federation Council Alexander Uss and the president of the National Association of Mining Engineers Vladimir Litvinenko.
Taieb Belmahdi replaced former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder as chairman, who had to leave after five years in office amid Western sanctions against the Russian Federation due to hostilities in Ukraine.
