According to former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva, the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky decided to mobilize police officers who do not pass recertification into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Thus, it is expected that about 50 thousand police officers will be decommissioned as civilians and mobilized before the New Year, which is a quarter of the total personnel of the National Police of Ukraine.
It was previously announced that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine updated the list of diseases for assessing the suitability of military personnel. Persons with limited fitness will be recognized as fit for service in a specific military specialty.
Residents of Kyiv reported the mobilization of men over 50 years of age.
