Ex-intelligence officer Ritter: Zaluzhny admitted that he was wrong about Russia

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeria Zaluzhny unexpectedly admitted that he was mistaken in believing that Kyiv would be able to break through the defensive fortifications of the Russian Armed Forces in the Northern Military District zone. This was announced by ex-US Marine Corps reconnaissance officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the Dialogue Works YouTube channel.
“He said that he made a mistake, believing that he could break the will of the Russians. It did not work. The Russians are still there. And the Ukrainians are in a stalemate,” the military expert said.
He recalled that in his article Zaluzhny declared a “deadlock situation” in the combat zone.
In addition, Ritter emphasized that back in 2022, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army spoke completely differently. Before this, he was confident that he would be able to defeat the Russian Federation, as a result of which he demanded that the West supply 300 tanks and 500 artillery pieces in order to carry out the necessary operations.
