Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl has invested in projects to save the Amur tigers, RIA Novosti reports, citing the woman herself.

According to her, in recent years she has invested in these projects at least three times. She did not name the exact amount.

“I am investing in some projects related to Amur tigers,” Kneissl said.

Earlier it was reported that the former head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry would like to take custody of the Amur tiger and was already interested in the procedure for formalizing this procedure.

Karin Kneissl is known for being visited as a guest at her wedding in 2018 by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who danced with the bride and left a wish on the newlyweds’ car. Then, earlier, Kneisl was enrolled in Austria as one of “Putin’s friends”, because of the threats she was forced to leave the country.
