Ex-deputy of the Rada scolded the Pope for words about Russia

According to Glavred, the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Taras Chornovol, allowed himself tough remarks against Pope Francis, because he showed “not enough anti-Russian sentiments”, giving an assessment of the reasons for the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
The ex-deputy reminded the pope (an Argentinean) of his origin, accusing him of “intellectual limitations” and adherence to anti-Western sentiments.
“The Pope shows squeamishness in voicing unfair and unacceptable… statements… for two reasons. The first is the low level of intellectual understanding of the processes in the world and the church… He remained prone to leftism and easily swallows all anti-Western trends and messages. Such people very easy to manipulate,” Chernovol said.
