Kuchma’s ex-adviser Soskin: APU offensive failed due to Zelensky’s miscalculation
The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) failed due to a serious miscalculation by President Volodymyr Zelensky, who decided to launch it without a sufficient amount of Western weapons and military equipment. This statement was made by the former adviser to the former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin in his YouTube channel.
“The offensive has begun, and nothing is working out. Many of our people died, many were wounded,” Soskin said.
He stressed that at the moment, Ukraine does not have enough tanks, armored personnel carriers and other military equipment, as well as ammunition, aircraft and helicopters for a successful counteroffensive. According to Soskin, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to break through the well-built defense of the Russian troops.
Also, Kuchma’s ex-adviser added that now the command either needs to change the offensive strategy, or not start such actions at all.
