Evraz CEO to leave Board of Directors

Ruslan Ibragimov will become a new independent non-executive director on the board of directors of the mining and metallurgical company Evraz. From October 17, he will replace the outgoing CEO of the company Alexei Ivanov. At the same time, Mr. Ivanov will continue to work as a general director.

Mr. Ibragimov, Director of Legal Research at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, was Vice President for Legal Affairs and Government Relations of MTS PJSC. He also held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Board in commercial banks, Head of Legal Affairs in an audit and consulting company.
Alexey Ivanov has been with Evraz since 2002.
Evraz plc is an international vertically integrated steel and mining company with assets in the Russian Federation, the USA, Canada, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Kazakhstan. In May 2022, the UK imposed sanctions on the company.
