A calm situation remains on the territory of the Bryansk region, reports of an attempt to penetrate the region by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group do not correspond to reality. On Friday, May 5, said the head of the administration of the Starodubsky district Alexander Podolny.
Podolny commented on the information that appeared in some Telegram channels that Ukrainian saboteurs tried to get into the Bryansk region through the Starodubsky district.
According to the official, no such information was received by the authorities, although Podolny talked about it “with everyone he needs.” He stressed that “everything is fine, everything is calm” in the region.
Earlier, there were reports on the Internet that several dozen Ukrainian saboteurs wanted to break into Russia. However, according to Mash, they were “met” by the Russian military near the village of Demyanki and driven back. It was reported that in connection with this, an alarm was announced in the Starodubsky district and roadblocks were set up, and the local population was urged to hide.
The Telegram channel “Military correspondents of the Russian Spring”, in turn, said with reference to Russian fighters that there was another small shootout – there are two hundred of them a day during a special operation. There were no clashes or attempts to break into the territory of Russia.
