Evacuation from workplaces announced in Nova Kakhovka

In Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, sirens signaling a missile threat continue to work, said the head of the military-civilian administration (VGA) of the region Vladimir Leontiev. According to him, the evacuation from workplaces to bomb shelters has now been announced.
“They announced an evacuation from workplaces, people are in the city, in bomb shelters, because the sirens do not stop working. <…> There have already been more than 10 rocket attacks in a day, ”added Leontiev (quote according to TASS).
The head of the regional military administration added that the armed forces of Ukraine (APU) are shelling the city with American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. One of the missiles fell in the yard and did not explode; now it has been deactivated by sappers. This includes attacks on civilian infrastructure: the territory of the hydroelectric power station, as well as the buildings adjacent to it, fall under shelling, Leontiev noted.
Despite the constant shelling, the school year in Nova Kakhovka is scheduled to be held on September 1. “All educational institutions, the system of kindergartens, four schools <...> will be open on September 1 in any case. <…> We are already completely ready for the children’s holiday, ”Leontiev said.
The area of the Kakhovskaya HPP was repeatedly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On July 18, in the area of the Kakhovskaya HPP, damaged main gas pipeline. Residential buildings were also destroyed and a hospital was damaged. The same attack carried out On July 29, then the station itself was not damaged, but the road at the entrance to the hydroelectric power station was destroyed.
