The European Parliament will consider at its November 23 session a resolution recognizing Russia as a “terrorist state,” said European Parliament spokeswoman Delphine Colard. This issue will be discussed in connection with the intense attacks during a special military operation, according to the website of the European Parliament. As noted in the message, such a decision will be a preparation for the subsequent prosecution of the Russian side.
The draft resolution says that the European Parliament calls on the European Council and EU member states to consider a similar resolution and take measures for the international isolation of Moscow “through the termination of all cooperation with Russia”, freezing contacts with its representatives and expelling Russian ambassadors from international organizations and forums, including G20 and UN Security Council.
