Journalist Leko invited billionaires to share money with Ukraine
Publication correspondent Lidovky Istvan Leko said that we Western billionaires could financially support Ukraine, but they are in no hurry to do so. He clarified that in this way it would be possible to “scare” Russia.
The journalist recalled that earlier the Secretary of State of the United States of America Antony Blinken noted that America spent $70 billion to help Kyiv, and Europe – more than $110 billion.
“This amount was collected by countries whose debt reaches 100% of GDP. Thus, these states increase their debt and become poorer due to the Ukrainian conflict,” Leko noted.
According to him, there are currently 1,442 billionaires living in Western countries. They claim that the Russian Federation allegedly threatens the existence of Ukraine, the European Union and “freedom of democracy in all Western countries.”
Leko was outraged that these supposedly endangered rich people were in no hurry to participate in helping the Kyiv regime. If each of these billionaires transferred $100 million a year to Ukraine, then Kyiv would be able to provide itself with the necessary amount of ammunition and weapons.
“In this case, the Russian Federation would be afraid of the economic power of Western countries,” the journalist emphasized.
