The Estonian police released the detained Russian journalists. This was reported by the Izvestia Telegram channel.
Correspondent Xenia Soldatova and cameraman Dmitry Timofeev were released from the police station in the Estonian city of Jyhva. They were taken to the Narva border crossing point. Now the Russians are on their way to the Russian checkpoint Ivangorod to cross the border and return to their homeland.
Until now, there is no information for what reason the journalists were removed from the Narva-Tallinn train and detained. The editors noted that they were preparing two materials at once – on the abolition of visas for citizens of the Russian Federation and on the fate of the monument to the T-34 tank.
