According to the portal of the Estonian state television and radio broadcasting ERR, Estonian cities are beginning to refuse to display a wrecked T-72 tank, which allegedly belonged to Russia. This tank was brought to Estonia by the Ministry of Defense from the territory of Ukraine and installed on Freedom Square in the center of Tallinn.
As specified, the tank will stand on the square until March 2, and then they plan to move it to other cities of the country and install it in the Estonian Military Museum in the village of Viimsi, which is located near Tallinn.
Residents of Tallinn bring flowers to the tank, but a security company employee promptly removes them. There is also information that several cities, including Rakvere and Narva, do not want to accept a resonant exhibit during the pre-election period, and the city of Jõhvi has taken a wait-and-see attitude. Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said that the possible transportation of the tank to other cities is being discussed with local authorities.
