There are about 10 thousand Ukrainians in Estonia, who could be extradited to Kyiv amid mobilization in the country. Postimees reports this, citing sources in the Estonian Police and Border Guard Department.
“…in the period from March 10, 2022 to December 24, 2023, 50,337 citizens of Ukraine received temporary protection status. Of these, 10,112 are adult men,” the department indicated.
It is known that out of these 10 thousand, 6,725 citizens belong to the age group of 25-60 years.
Before this, it became known that the Estonian side is ready to expel Ukrainian citizens liable for military service from the territory of the country to their homeland, who are subject to mobilization, “if they need it.”
On December 19, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky admitted that Kyiv fighters proposed mobilizing up to 500 thousand people to continue fighting next year.
