Estonia failed to deprive Russian and Belarusian diplomats of free travel, Sputnik reports.
Reportedly, in Tallinn, local authorities wanted to deprive diplomats from the Russian Federation and Belarus of free travel. The opposition faction of the Reform Party introduced a draft according to which representatives of the embassies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus would be left without travel benefits, which began to apply to diplomats on July 1.
18 deputies voted for the bill, 31 parliamentarians were against it, 16 members abstained, and 14 people did not come to the meeting. As a result, the vote failed, and diplomats were left with free travel.
