Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that with the introduction of a ban on entry for citizens of the Russian Federation, the country’s authorities will make exceptions for certain categories of Russians.
According to Reinsalu, the exceptions will concern, in particular, the Russian opposition.
According to Reuters, the diplomat also said that the Russians may be allowed entry for family, humanitarian or medical reasons, as well as if they arrive as diplomats.
Earlier on Wednesday, the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry said that the country and partners in the region intend to introduce an almost complete ban on the entry of Russians with Schengen visas in the near future.
