Turkey would like to process Russian grain into flour and send it to poor countries for free. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He recalled Russia’s offer to send grain free of charge to countries in need, specifying that Anakara would like to first grind it into flour, and only then send it as a finished product.
Earlier, the Turkish president said that Russian grain, as part of the Black Sea initiative, would be delivered to poor African countries.
On November 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the so-called grain deal would be extended by 120 days, until March 2023. The decision was also approved by the UN, Turkey and Ukraine.
