Erdogan ordered strikes on Syria and Iraq upon return from G20 summit

The order to conduct a military operation in Syria and Iraq was given personally by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after he returned from the G20 summit, which was held in Indonesia. This became known to the Turkish TV channel TRT.
Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar reported to Erdogan about the situation when he was on board the presidential plane, follows from the plot shown by the TV channel. Akar also handed over to Erdogan the corresponding document, which the president signed there.
Earlier on Sunday, it became known that the Turkish Air Force launched strikes with F-16 fighters and drones in four regions in Syria and one each in Iraq. The terrorist bases were destroyed.
Ankara’s plans to conduct a special operation against the combat formations of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in northern Syria were reported on November 15. Earlier, the Turkish leader said that the Turkish Armed Forces would conduct military operations in northern Syria until the terrorists were completely destroyed.
