We should determine the shortest and fairest path to the negotiating table,” Erdogan said following a trilateral meeting in Lviv on August 18 with Zelensky and Guterres.
According to the Turkish leader, possible ways of ending the conflict in Ukraine were indeed discussed in Lvov. He did not provide details, recalling that in July the quadripartite agreements in Istanbul between Russia – the UN – Turkey – Ukraine on the issue of exporting grain from blocked Ukrainian ports became “an example of joint interaction.”
