Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan has initiated trilateral talks on a peaceful settlement of the Syrian conflict, Aydinlik reports.
At the same time, Erdogan pointed out that Iran could join Syria, Turkey and Russia in the negotiation process.
“Let’s get together three of us: Russia, Turkey, Syria. We can even include Iran in this process,” Erdogan said.
According to the Turkish president, in order to resolve the Syrian crisis, several meetings will need to be held. But in the end, the negotiations should contribute to the establishment of peace in the region.
