Energodar authorities discussed the safety of Zaporozhye NPP with IAEA staff

Energodar administration head Alexander Volga said that representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency are in contact with the authorities on the issue of ensuring the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
“The representatives of the IAEA are in contact with the authorities of Energodar, first of all, the issue of safety and operation of the Zaporozhye NPP is being discussed,” he said.
Volga also added that Russian troops are in full control of the situation around the station, so a breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and Energodar is impossible.
