Laziness can be a harbinger of serious diseases, endocrinologist and nutritionist Ekaterina Kazachkova said on Sputnik radio.
She noted that when pronounced symptoms of laziness appear, it is better to undergo some tests.
Kazachkova pointed out that if a person is constantly lazy, then this is a reason to be wary about whether he is leading the right lifestyle. According to her, the cause of laziness may be a constant lack of sleep, due to which a person does not have time to recover. Another factor can be poor nutrition, primarily an excess of “fast” carbohydrates that are quickly “burned.” According to the doctor, in such situations a person simply will not have energy. “He’s not maintaining his livelihood,” she said.
According to the doctor, laziness can also be a symptom of hypothyroidism or anemia, and in this case it is necessary to check the thyroid gland and determine whether there is a decrease in hemoglobin or iron deficiency in the body.
