Astrologers themselves have criticized the selection of personnel depending on the horoscope of the applicant

Unexpected results were shown by a recent survey of a major job search service. It turned out that 15% of employers check the horoscope sign of candidates for a vacancy, and 46% of Russian applicants are trying to find out who their potential boss is by sign in order to understand how compatible they will be.

As the survey showed, Taurus (10%), Virgo (9%), Aries (9%) and Leo (8%) seem to be ideal employees for employers. A smaller number prefers Scorpios and Cancers. At the same time, 52% of respondents indicated that they are especially interested in who, according to the horoscope, is the applicant for the position of manager. When choosing top managers, many people look to ensure that the “boss” talents and qualities are “registered” in the candidate in his zodiac sign.

– The theme of horoscopes is now in trend. Even cool leaders in large corporations require them to select employees of certain signs, ”psychologist and career consultant Svetlana Lenkova told MK. – In my practice, there is a company in which, when considering candidates, one of the leaders always asks to indicate who the person is according to the horoscope, because, as he believes, he does not have a relationship with Gemini. And when I selected employees for him, by all indicators they were cool applicants, but you show him a resume, and if he saw the Twins, then, as a rule, he immediately refused. And if I nevertheless convinced him to take Gemini to work, later he fired him anyway: indeed, he did not find a common language.

But professional astrologers were very skeptical about the opinion of the experts of the job search service. After all, the townsfolk, the same employers and job seekers, look only at “clean signs” (by date of birth), and this is not always correct. Nevertheless, the astrologer agreed to tell us about pure signs, which are more familiar and understandable to all of us, which of them is which worker.

– The best performers who do not ask unnecessary questions are Virgo and Taurus, – said practicing astrologer-researcher Tasha Igoshina. – Aries, for example, prefer to work for themselves. And if they go into submission, they create a new product. I emphasize that we are talking about pure signs, that is, those where many planets are in the sign of Taurus or the sign of Capricorn. In real life, in serious (non-amateur) astrology, everything is much more complicated. According to the sign of the Sun, a person can be Pisces, and he has eight planets in the sign of Taurus. And he, in fact, according to the cosmogram Taurus. And in order to determine in a person the qualities that are important for employers – for example, endurance, patience, diligence, it is necessary to look at the cosmogram. Therefore, the employer, knowing only his Sun, date of birth, can be deeply mistaken about the working qualities of a person.

Many employers contact me, the expert continues, and if, for example, they need a creative person, we will look for other people who will create new content (not Aries), and Sagittarius and Aquarius are more suitable here. If we look for a person who is able to harmonize relationships, negotiate with people, these are Gemini and Libra. And a pure Leo, a person who has many planets in Leo, does not know how to obey at all. There is no question of cooperation or subordination here.
