Election commission employees will conduct door-to-door visits to Russians before the 2024 elections

Employees of precinct election commissions (PECs) will make door-to-door visits to Russians to inform citizens about the presidential elections, which will take place on March 15-17, 2024, they report “Vedomosti” with reference to own sources.
It is noted that PEC officers will begin conducting door-to-door visits to citizens on February 17 and will end on March 7. According to Vedomosti, the project for organizing door-to-door visits of citizens was called “InformUIK”, and a special mobile application was developed for its implementation. One of the key goals of informing citizens is to increase turnout at polling stations – this is the traditional task of the commissions, to which they have developed a new approach, the newspaper’s interlocutors note.
There are currently 11 candidates vying for the post of head of state. Among them are the current President Vladimir Putin (running as a self-nominated candidate), Vladislav Davankov (New People), Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation), Sergei Baburin (Russian All-People’s Union), Andrei Bogdanov (Russian Freedom Party and justice), Boris Nadezhdin (“Civil Initiative”), Sergei Malinkovich (“Communists of Russia”), Irina Sviridova (Democratic Party of Russia), bloggers Rada of Russians and Anatoly Batashev (both self-nominated).
