Earlier on October 22 in the Israel Defense Forces reportedthat a tank accidentally fired at an Egyptian post near the border with Egypt in the area of ​​​​Kibbutz Kerem Shalom. The military department expressed regret over the incident and promised to investigate its circumstances. The media also reported in the evening about explosions near the Rafah checkpoint on the border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
