Education and development of a tourism cluster: Days of the Primorsky Territory opened in Moscow at the exhibition-forum “Russia”

“Run” a marathon across the famous cable-stayed bridge across the Zolotoy Rog Bay in Vladivostok, listen to lectures on environmental conservation, and also try seaweed-flavored chocolate – all this can be done at the “Russia” exhibition and forum as part of the Primorsky Territory Days, which opened on November 11.

The Rosneft interactive pavilion, built according to the author’s design project, is divided into thematic zones. A large sculpture of a polar bear with her cub, a photo exhibition, a real yellow and black racing car, and a computer game “What is made of oil” – this is what visitors can see. And thanks to the installed robotic technology, anyone can feel like a driller on a rig and extract oil online. November 11-12 in the pavilion of the largest oil company is dedicated to the Primorsky Territory. These days, various master classes, performances and other activities take place here. You can also send postcards to friends and acquaintances with the sights of the Primorsky Territory.

One of the first guests of the pavilion on this day was the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako and the Vice President for Localization, Innovation and Energy of Rosneft Andrey Shishkin.

In his speech, Oleg Kozhemyako said that today the main direction of the Primorsky Territory has become the revival of shipbuilding. Thus, the Rosneft company continues work on the construction of the Zvezda shipyard in the city of Bolshoi Kamen. This is a large-scale and most modern Russian project to build unique ships for the country. The shipbuilding complex has already launched Aframax-type tankers running on gas engine fuel.

“SSK “Zvezda” is the most modern shipyard in Russia, which specializes in the construction of all types of offshore production platforms, icebreakers and large-tonnage civil vessels – the basis of the Russian Arctic fleet.

“New ships, new technologies, a new shipbuilding college, an education system, a system of social conditions, it seems to me, embodies all the best that was formed in previous years. And this is being implemented here on the shore of this beautiful bay, on the shore of Bolshoy Kamen,” noted Oleg Kozhemyako.

At the same time, the shipyard is the locomotive of the Primorye economy. It provides orders to related industries and productions. The complex is one of the largest taxpayers in the region. The shipyard is also a leading employer in the Primorsky Territory.

According to Oleg Komezhako, thanks to this project, 11 thousand jobs have been created for highly qualified specialists. In addition, the company is implementing a program for improving the city where the shipyard is located, and is also building new houses for employees of the shipbuilding complex: “These are high wages and the opportunity to get housing.”

As the governor of the region noted, the Primorsky Territory is currently an outpost of Russia and recalled that the region attracts more and more tourists every year: “We have enormous tourism potential – beautiful nature, a marine reserve, cleanliness, bays, excellent roads leading to them. On behalf of President Putin, a stage for the Mariinsky Theater was created in Primorye, and the largest cultural and exhibition center is being built, which will feature the country’s largest museums – the Hermitage, the Tretyakov Gallery. Primorye is a dynamic region that believes in its future.” And he invited all residents of our country to visit the Primorsky Territory.

During a tour of the pavilion, the head of the region was told about the main stages of development of the company and the country’s oil industry, and was introduced to innovative developments. The governor of the Primorsky Territory especially noted the digital field model, with the help of which one can remotely monitor the main technological parameters of the oil field and manage the production process. Such a software package is already working at the oil company’s production enterprises in Ufa and Tyumen, and future plans include distributing an effective digital solution to other enterprises of the company.

Oleg Kozhemyako tried his hand at driving a racing simulator. He also inspected the fastest Russian racing car, Lada Vesta, of the Lada Sport Rosneft team, a multiple winner of the Russian circuit racing series.

The international exhibition and forum “Russia” is held by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024 on the territory of VDNKh.
