Eastern Economic Forum 2023 postponed for a week

VIII Eastern Economic Forum will be held from 12 to 15 September at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. About it reported on the forum site. Earlier it was reported that the event should be held from 5 to 8 September.
“The decision to clarify the dates of the Eastern Economic Forum is connected with the schedule of international events. We expect the participation of foreign leaders and high-level guests,” explained Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.
It is specified that the plenary session will be held on September 14. Russian President Vladimir Putin traditionally takes part in it.
WEF-2023 will be the eighth forum taking place in the Far East. The event was first held in 2015 by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The forum was only canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In 2022, the WEF was held from 5 to 8 September. The main theme of the event was the movement towards a multipolar world. This year, 296 agreements worth more than 3.2 trillion rubles were signed at the forum. More than 7,000 people took part in WEF-2022, including 1,700 business representatives from 700 companies.
