The legal service “SberPravo” has begun checking information about a possible leakage of data of its users. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press service of the company.
SberPravo is an online service for obtaining legal assistance. The project was launched in 2021 and is being implemented under cooperation agreements between Sberbank, the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of Russia and the Federal Chamber of Notaries.
The company noted that reports of data theft appear quite often. As a rule, they are used by scammers who try to sell compilations of old databases under the guise of original ones.
About the SberPrav data leak earlier today, March 7, informed Telegram channel “Information Leaks”. According to the project, the names and dates of birth of users, 115,000 phone numbers, and 72,000 email addresses were made public. It was noted that the data were received no earlier than February 8.
