Duracell Russia confirms termination of business in Russia

Duracell Russia CEO Yuri Korotaev called the letter circulated in the media about the company’s withdrawal from Russia genuine. About this Korotaev informed Telegram channel “Rise”.
“This is a genuine letter, but I will not be able to comment. Environmental projects will remain, we are now discussing the details,” said Korotaev.
Earlier appeal of Korotaev published Telegram channel Mash. After that, the representative of one of the official dealers of the company – Colors group LLC, works under the DuracellShop brand – informedthat the organization has not received such a letter. They also stated that they continue to receive goods from Duracell. In addition, the St. Petersburg official dealer of the company, the trade network “Master”, also did not receive notifications about the termination of the distributor’s work.
“Dear business partners, hereby DURACELL RUSSIA LLC expresses to you [бизнес-партнерам] respects and with great regret announces that our shareholders have announced the withdrawal from the Russian market and the termination of Duracell business in Russia in accordance with Russian laws and regulations,” the text of the letter reads.
The head of Duracell in Russia also asked partners to provide documents for final settlements.
