Pobeda Airlines plans to operate up to 250 flights daily in the summer schedule, which should be 20% higher than the peak figures of the last season, Kommersant was told in the press service of the carrier. In the summer of 2019, the low-cost airline made an average of 180 flights per day, Kommersant was told in the company (at the beginning of 2019, there were 25 aircraft in the fleet).
In April, the airline introduced its entire fleet of 41 Boeing 737-800s into the schedule and intends to actively operate it at the peak of summer demand, they emphasized: “They will be needed to expand the flight program, including the regional one.” Pobeda assured that before commissioning, each aircraft undergoes full technical training: “We have all the necessary spare parts and technical equipment for this.”
At the end of March 2022, Pobeda decided to reduce the number of flying aircraft to 25. This was due to the need to save spare parts “for the entire fleet in the future.” It was assumed that 16 aircraft would not be operated until at least the end of the year. But already in July 2022, the low-cost carrier announced that it had put the entire park on schedule.
According to the latest data from Kommersant, by the end of last year, Pobeda managed to “de-bermudize” and get rid of the double registration of 17 aircraft. In December 2022, Pobeda resumed flights to Turkey, until then remaining the only major carrier that, after the imposition of sanctions, did not fly outside the Russian Federation (not counting flights to Minsk). Now the airline also flies to Belarus, Armenia and the United Arab Emirates, and from April 21 to Uzbekistan (Samarkand).
From the beginning of June, the carrier is going to launch flights from Moscow to the Turkish resorts of Bodrum, Dalaman and Alanya, as well as start flights to Antalya from the regions.
