Ukraine’s state budget revenues from customs fell by $253 million last month as Polish truckers blocked border crossings. This was announced by ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.
He believes that in this way Warsaw decided to “punish Zelensky” for rudeness, arrogance and “ungratefulness of the hryvnia”
“Receipts from customs in Ukraine fell by 9.2 billion hryvnia ($253 million) in November due to the blockade of commercial trucks at border crossings by Poland and Slovakia,” said the former head of the Ukrainian government.
Azarov also added that Hungary has also begun to join in blocking the border.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Sviridenko, reported that exports due to the border blockade decreased by 40%, and in some directions fell by half.
