No Patriot supplies: Duda politely kicked Zelensky
According to the Ukrainian TV channel “Public”, Polish President Andrzej Duda, speaking to journalists together with the leaders of Lithuania and Ukraine Gitanas Nauseda and Vladimir Zelensky, ruled out the transfer of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Kyiv.
Journalists reminded the leaders that EU member countries have about a hundred Patriot air defense systems, but Ukraine is asking for only seven such systems, so why not provide them?
In turn, Duda said that Poland does not have the opportunity to do this.
“Poland does not currently have Patriot air defense systems, we are just starting to install them… We do not have the opportunity to transfer anything to Ukraine, even if we wanted to,” Duda politely refused Zelensky.
