DPR announces charges against five foreign mercenaries who fought on the side of Ukraine

Five foreign mercenaries who fought on the territory of Donbass on the side of Ukraine were charged in the court of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), transmits “RIA News”.
Swedish citizen Matthias Gustavsson, Croatian citizen Vekoslav Prebeg, and British citizen John Harding are charged with participating in hostilities as mercenaries and being trained to seize power by force. They face the death penalty.
Two more British citizens – Andrew Hill and Dylan Hill – are charged with participation in hostilities as mercenaries and recruitment. None of the mercenaries agreed with the accusations.
Moroccan citizen Ibrahim Saadoun and British citizens Aiden Aslin and Sean Pinner have already been sentenced to death in the DPR. They confessed to violating Art. 232 of the Criminal Code of the DPR (training in order to carry out terrorist activities). According to the investigation, the British and the Moroccan took part in the armed aggression of Ukraine to forcibly seize power in the DPR for a fee.
On July 12, the lifting of the moratorium on the execution of death sentences came into force in the DPR.
