“Dom.RF” plans to put up for auction the house of the Kushashnikov merchants of the 17th-18th centuries, located 330 meters from the Shabolovskaya metro station in Moscow. The auction will take place in the third quarter of this year, as follows from the information on website state-owned companies.
The area of the house is 1.1 thousand square meters. m. The lot will also include a land plot underneath it of 0.18 hectares. The Ministry of Education and Science transferred the Dom.RF facility in 2023. The starting price has not yet been determined, the company said RBC.
The state-owned company explained to the publication that the potential buyer of the house will have certain obligations for its preservation and maintenance, because it is a cultural heritage site of federal significance.
The Kushashnikov chambers belonged to merchants since the mid-18th century. In the late 1830s, the owners of the site changed. In the 20th century, the house became part of the club of the Textile University. A. N. Kosygina.
