Why threaten to kill a suicide

Dmitry Medvedev reacted in his social network to the ongoing shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. But one phrase in this reaction is downright mysterious: “We should not forget that there are nuclear power plants in the European Union. And accidents are also possible there. If this is a threat, it is very strange at first glance.

Strange, apparently because before that Medvedev wrote: “The Kyiv scumbags and their Western patrons seem to be ready to arrange a new Chernobyl. Rockets and shells are getting closer and closer to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant reactor and radioactive isotope storage facilities.”

Let’s note for ourselves that Chernobyl was not only a Ukrainian or even an all-Union disaster. It seriously affected Europe and indirectly even countries in the other hemisphere.

In the event of a catastrophe at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Europe, the Black Sea basin will also suffer, according to experts, navigation in the Bosphorus will become impossible, in short, you will not end up with problems.

Further, Medvedev writes that Russia is blamed for this, but this is “nonsense even for the stupid Russophobic public. Not even the UN believes.” And the Ukrainians, they say, justify themselves, “which turns out purely by chance. They didn’t want to.”

In summary: according to Medvedev, everyone understands that Ukraine and its “Western patrons” will be the culprit of the supposedly accidental catastrophe. Based on the Chernobyl experience, it is clear that the catastrophe at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant will be enough for everyone, and such actions of the West are the behavior of a suicide.

So what is the logic: to threaten with murder (accidents at nuclear power plants) to someone who decided to commit suicide?

And there is no logic. And this is the most important thing. Dmitry Anatolyevich, whether intuitively or somehow, found the only working way to communicate with the Western world.

Because the logic has ceased to exist there. And this can be seen in global things, and in small things. Here, offhand. The emergence of more and more NATO bases and military formations in an increasing number of countries near Russian borders is not considered an expansion of NATO. The bombing and dismemberment of Yugoslavia are not considered a violation of the principle of inviolability of frontiers. The default of Russia is the unwillingness to take money from her. Chancellor Scholz demands that Russia take away the turbine for the Nord Stream, which Russia was forbidden to give. And so on. Or on the topic of the Zaporizhzhya NPP – Deutsche Welle writes on August 5 that the Russian military is using the territory of the station for recreation. And on August 6 – that the Russian military were shelling the territory of the station. To have a better rest?

The method adopted by Medvedev – to defeat carrots, you need to think like carrots – should work. So none of his threats are strange, just necessarily illogical.
