Diplomat at the UN compared the idea of an anti-Russian “tribunal” with a PR campaign

A diplomat from one of the delegations to the UN told RIA Novosti that the idea of Western politicians to create a special tribunal against Russia because of the Ukrainian conflict reminds him of a PR campaign, since the only structure that can create such a tribunal is the UN Security Council, where Russia has have the right to veto.
On January 19, the European Parliament adopted a resolution that noted the need to create a “special tribunal for Ukraine” and use Russian assets “for reparations to Kyiv.”
