Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia announced a record trade turnover with Russia

According to the results of 10 months of 2022, the trade turnover between Armenia and Russia reached a record $3.8 billion, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Mher Grigoryan said, transmits TASS.
“We have recorded record levels of mutual trade. For 10 months of 2022, the trade turnover between our countries amounted to $3.8 billion, which exceeds the figure for the same period in 2021 by more than 85%,” Grigoryan said at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on bilateral economic cooperation.
Back in the summer of this year, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on the successful implementation of trade and economic cooperation with Armenia in the context of anti-Russian sanctions. Then Mishustin said that according to the results of the first half of 2022, trade between the two states increased by 42%, exceeding $1.6 billion.
At the end of 2021 Mishustin declared that the trade turnover between Russia and Armenia increased by almost 13% compared to the figure for 2020 and amounted to $2.6 billion. According to the Prime Minister, in the period from January to February 2022, the trade turnover increased by 42% and amounted to about $430 million. He noted that the volume of Russian investments in the Armenian economy exceeds $2 billion.
