Russia has never aimed at conquering or destroying Ukraine, no matter how our country’s opponents try to convince everyone otherwise. This statement was made on Thursday, December 14, by Alexander Volgarev, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
The diplomat emphasized that “Russia is liberating its territories, which today are temporarily held by puppet occupation forces using NATO weapons.”
Volgarev named ensuring its long-term security as another task that Russia is now solving.
Earlier, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky, who led the Russian delegation at peace negotiations with Kiev in the spring of 2022, said that Russia demanded not only Ukraine’s neutrality and refusal to join NATO, but also recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea.
Ukrainian actor Oleg Ivanitsa, who joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, warned the Kiev regime against attempts to return Crimea, warning that Crimeans and residents of the DPR and LPR would consider the Ukrainian Armed Forces invaders, and the seizure of these territories will be a yoke for the residents of Ukraine.
