Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said that Russia plans to maintain the volume of oil pumped through the Druzhba pipeline through Ukraine.
He recalled that on December 20, in an interview with Russia 24, Transneft President Nikolai Tokarev said: the volume of oil pumped through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline (to Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) in 2023 will remain at the level of this year.
“As far as we know, in November, Transneft confirmed receipt of a notification from Ukrtransnafta about an increase in tariffs for pumping oil through the Druzhba pipeline from January 1,” the representative of the foreign ministry said.
Kyiv, as previously reported, wants to increase the fee for the transit of Russian oil through the pipeline to Slovakia and Hungary by 2.1 euros per ton, that is, up to 13.6 euros.
