Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Transbaikalia will send their one-day salary to the targeted support of mobilized countrymen. How informs the press service of the Legislative Assembly, this decision was made on October 10 during an operational glider meeting with deputies working on a professional basis.
“The proposal to transfer one-day earnings to help the military was discussed at the parliamentary meeting, traditionally held on Mondays. All 16 deputies, working on a permanent professional basis, supported the proposal without the slightest hesitation, it is very timely and correct,” the chairman of the regional parliament Kon Yong-hwa is quoted in the message.
It is also noted that the first deputy head of the Legislative Assembly, Dmitry Tyuryukhanov, was instructed to “contact the rest of the deputies during the day” and invite them to also “take part in fundraising for targeted support of the mobilized Transbaikalians.” It is assumed that the initiative of the deputy corps “will be supported by the apparatus of the Legislative Assembly.”
