Nord Stream AG, the operator of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, has received official permission from the Danish Geodata Agency to survey the gas pipeline in the country’s territorial waters. This was reported by the press service of the company.
Denmark has granted permission to survey the break point of the gas pipeline in the exclusive economic zone of the country. But until recently, access to damage points was not possible, since Copenhagen established a restricted area.
Now, after obtaining a permit, the company has received the opportunity to carry out work on the study of the gas pipeline. A special vessel has already moved to the place of the gas leak. Recall that a gas leak on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines occurred as a result of the explosion of their threads on September 26.
