Denmark confirms receipt of US permission to transfer F-16 to Kyiv

Denmark has received White House approval to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine after training of Ukrainian pilots is completed. This statement was made by Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lskke Rasmussen.
“… received a friendly letter from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, which gives us the opportunity to act,” said the minister, quoted by Danmarks radio.
The minister noted that his Dutch colleague Wopke Hoekstra received the same message as he did.
Earlier, Defense Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen told the Ritzau news agency that Copenhagen is already planning the transfer of a combat aircraft with partners and will soon be able to give more accurate information about this.
