Demand for wipers in Russia has increased 1.5 times – Kommersant

The number of vacancies for janitors in Russia in the third quarter increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period last year. At the same time, salary offers increased by 20%, to 32.4 thousand rubles. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to data from Avito Work.

According to a study by the Avito Rabota platform, the most sought-after specialist in the housing and communal services sector is a mechanic. There are 2.6 times more vacancies for them compared to last year. On average, they are willing to pay a mechanic 67.9 thousand rubles. (+41%). The salary of this specialist is the fastest growing among professions in the industry.

In second place after the mechanic is the carpenter. The number of vacancies for them increased by 1.9 times. The average wage for them increased by 30%, to 71.3 thousand rubles. Next come electrician and plumber (+1.7 times more vacancies year-on-year). On average, electricians are offered 17% more (RUB 53.1 thousand) than last year, plumbers – 24% (RUB 57.7 thousand). The demand for farm managers increased 1.4 times. The average proposed salary for caretakers was 43 thousand rubles, or 12% more than in the third quarter of 2022.

At the beginning of the year, the shortage of janitors in Moscow in different areas was 30-50%. In the capital, janitors are offered an average salary of 50–70 thousand rubles. In St. Petersburg in 2022 not enough more than 4.3 thousand wipers. The State Duma proposed issue janitors service apartments. In Moscow started developing unmanned street cleaning vehicles.
