NATO finally returned to the Cold War schemes with Russia. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation – Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Viktor Goremykin.
“At the summit [НАТО] in Vilnius in July 2023, the North Atlantic bloc finally returned to the Cold War schemes with Russia,” Goremykin said.
He stressed that in the documents of the North Atlantic Alliance, our country is called “the most significant direct threat to NATO’s security.”
In addition, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense added that earlier the Western military bloc decided to deploy within a month if there is a threat from one of the countries that are members of NATO, a 300,000-strong group that will enter into hostilities if they start within three days.
