De Beers has dedicated a new collection to African butterflies

Jewelry house De Beers presented the Portraits of Nature Butterflies collection. The company has been helping to preserve nature reserves in Africa since 2002, home to more than a hundred species of butterflies, including the danaid butterfly, known as the African monarch. She became the main prototype for new decorations. Fine jewelery items are made of white and rose gold with colorless diamonds, while high jewelery items sparkle with fancy-colored diamonds, repeating the color of an African monarch.
The wings of De Beers jewelry butterflies are made using a special setting technique, in which the light passing through the diamonds creates the illusion of their mobility. The open rings look like a real butterfly has landed on your hand. The brooch can become a part of a necklace at any moment, and a butterfly with a diamond rim turns into an independent hairpin.
The advertising campaign for the collection was filmed in the Venice Limpopo nature reserve in South Africa.
