Danish police ask citizens for photos for Nord Stream bombing case

The Danish police have questioned residents of the small island of Christiansø in the case of sabotage at the Nord Stream. Law enforcement officers asked for a photo from mid-September 2022. This was stated to the newspaper Bild by the head of the administration of the island Soren Tiim Andersen.
“In December, the Danish police asked us to provide all the data of our port,” – quotes his publication. And in early January, the police asked the administration to collect photographs that residents of the island and tourists could take from September 16 to 18 – more than a week before the sabotage.
On Tuesday, The New York Times, citing US officials, reported that some “pro-Ukrainian group” could have committed sabotage on gas pipelines. According to the Zeit edition, investigators from Germany have installed a vessel used by saboteurs. Allegedly, the company that rented the ship belonged to Ukrainian citizens, but was registered in Poland.
Kristiansø Island is part of the Ertholmen archipelago, it is located 18 km from the island of Bornholm, is considered the easternmost point of Denmark. About 90 people permanently live on it.
