Danilov: Ukraine will not be able to protect all energy facilities this winter

Oleksiy Danilov, head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said on the air of Ukrainian Radio that, most likely, on August 25, at a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the issue of protecting energy facilities this winter will be discussed.
“We are much better protected than in February 2022,” Danilov said, adding that Ukrainian energy companies already have some experience.
At the same time, he noted that one cannot say that Ukraine will be able to protect all objects. According to him, it is extremely difficult to completely protect with physical protective structures.
“But we are doing our best,” Danilov added.
Earlier, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak suggested that the upcoming winter would also be difficult for Ukrainians.
