Dandykin named the main drawback of the "David's Sling" missile defense system: it lets missiles through

Military expert Vasily Dandykin commented on the report that Israel has signed an agreement to sell its David’s Sling missile defense system to Finland.

“This is the first time that Israel has transferred such weapons,” he said in interview News.ru, explaining why this agreement is called “historic”.

The expert noted that this is a comprehensive system that Israel is now actively using against Hamas missiles, and recent events have shown that the system is not ideal.

“It misses missiles during a mass launch,” Dandykin noted, adding that Finland, after joining NATO and launching a special operation in Ukraine, apparently wants to protect itself from Russia. He emphasized that all sensible people understand that this will not happen if Finland itself does not attack, but if it attacks, then no “David’s Sling” will save it, since Russia has completely new, highly effective types of weapons.
