Dandykin assessed the potential of the Ukrainian “million” army

They will try to throw reserves at Mariupol, Melitopol and Crimea

A military team game was held at the American military base in Germany, during which options for the upcoming offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were worked out. Two directions of strike were announced – one in the Donbass and the second – in the direction of Melitopol and Berdyansk. At the same time, as the well-known military portal Lostarmour reported, the armed forces of Ukraine plan to increase the number of personnel to 1.3 million people. “MK” asked to evaluate these plans of a military expert captain 1st rank Vasily Dandykin.

According to the French information resource, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forming the 37th and 38th separate brigades of marines, the fifth separate airborne assault brigade, several mechanized brigades, artillery, jaeger and three rifle brigades in the Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kiev regions.

According to the portal’s assessment, the ground forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the territorial defense may have about 700 infantry and 40 tank battalions. Experts believe that the strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking into account the rear and support units, can reach about 1.3 million people.

How many more people are really capable of putting the Kiev regime under arms, military expert Vasily Dandykin told MK.

– In fact, the nature of hostilities now is such that the number of manpower is not a decisive factor. And of course, the numbers they are voicing are outrageous. These are the fantasies of Blinken, Biden, Borrell and everyone else.

A million, or rather, less because of the significant losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Artemivsk – this is approximately the number of military personnel that the Ukrainian army has in general. This is together with the Terbatovites and everyone else they could gather at all.

In fact, Ukraine will not be able to recruit even more than 60 thousand people. Part of the personnel of the emerging brigades, about 20 thousand people, is being trained abroad. The main contingent is Ukrainian border guards, employees of the National Guard, who are already being collected in the truest sense of the word, throughout Ukraine.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, most likely, will be able to form about 10-12 brigades equipped with NATO weapons, self-propelled howitzers, tanks, which they will try to throw to the south in order to reach Mariupol, Melitopol and strike at Crimea. I do not think that this attempt will be crowned with any success, if only because we have already created more than one echelon of defense in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions.

– A reserve of 60 thousand people is a significant threat to our army?

– Given the pumping of Ukrainians with Western weapons, do not underestimate the enemy. It is likely that the formed brigades will attempt to attack. But after all, we are not sitting idly by, we are getting ready.

– What should we do, knowing about the plans of the enemy?

– All actions of the enemy are under observation from our side. It is no coincidence that we strike at control centers and warehouses. And these attacks will continue. Here I would also note such a moment that when the enemy constantly declares that he will attack, then, of course, this should be treated with attention, but it should not be ruled out that this may be the most common information and psychological operation. The goal is to scare, cause panic. In this regard, Kyiv has good instructors.
